How to check your NSFAS Status STEP 1
NSFAS ANNOUNCEMENT
I’m going to give everyone a chance to use my NSFAS Application services until 2pm today (20 January 2021)
I am also going to charge the last students
Please DO NOT text me after 2pm asking me to apply for you.
I had already said l will not participate in late minute NSFAS Applications but l can’t sit back when l know I’m in the position to make a difference and give someone hope
So inbox me for Applications before 2pm
Please don’t make me regret this
1. Click on this Link NSFAS
2. Click on myNSFAS written in Orange (Top right corner of the Screen)
Scroll down to where it’s written SIGN IN
3. Enter your Username and Pass THEN, SIGN IN!
Username is the email you used to register on NSFAS (when Nsfas sent you an OTP to verify)
Password is the password you entered when you registered on the myNSFAS portal
4. Click on Track Application Progress (It’s at the top, Highlighted in Orange)

IF YOU APPLIED you should see
Application Cycle – 2023 ANNUAL CYCLE
Not 2022 or years before.
If there is no 2022, you didn’t apply for 2022
There should be a FLOW DIAGRAM which shows where your application is at:
CURRENT STEP Is the Hand sign, meaning that’s where your application is at
COMPLETED STEP is the Green tick, meaning your application has passed that stage
NEXT STEP is the grey tick
UNSUCCESSFUL is the red canceled sign, it means your application was NOT successful YOUR STATUS IS WRITTEN AT THE BOTTOM, and if you are rejected its written there too

Who qualifies for NSFAS?
You may qualify for the NSFAS bursary at the Financial Aid Office / Student Support Services on Campus if: you are registering for the first-time for an undergraduate qualification and have been admitted you are a South African citizen your combined annual household income does not exceed R350 000 per annum
What is the advantages of NSFAS?
NSFAS helps needy students pay their registration fees, tuition fees, accommodation, grant them meal allowances and books allowance. benefited a lot from NSFAS. reached a stage whereby I was introduced to Financial Aid offices and that is where I got help from NSFAS to fund my registration
