SASSA Payment Dates For 2022 R350

SASSA Payment Dates For 2022 R350 grant payment dates for the month of January have been released. Here’s how payments will work in the first month of 2022.

Beneficiaries of the grant can expect to collect their payments starting in the second week of January. The South African Post Office will be facilitating these payments starting on 10 January until 1 February 2022.

Payments are made according to the last three digits on the ID numbers of beneficiaries:

  1. 10 January: ID numbers ending in 085 and 080
  2. 11 January: ID numbers ending in 081 and 086
  3. 12 January: ID numbers ending in 082 and 087
  4. 13 January: ID numbers ending in 083 and 088
  5. 14 January: ID numbers ending in 084 and 089
  6. 17 January: ID numbers ending in 080 and 085
  7. 18 January: ID numbers ending in 081 and 086
  8. 19 January: ID numbers ending in 082 and 087
  9. 20 January: ID numbers ending in 083 and 088
  10. 21 January: ID numbers ending in 084 and 089
  11. 24 January: ID numbers ending in 080 and 085
  12. 25 January: ID numbers ending in 081 and 086
  13. 26 January: ID numbers ending in 082 and 087
  14. 27 January: ID numbers ending in 083 and 088
  15. 28 January: ID numbers ending in 084 and 089
  16. 31 January: ID numbers ending in 080 and 085
  17. 1 February: ID numbers ending in 081 and 086

The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has warned beneficiaries to wait until they receive an SMS informing them that their grant is ready for collection before attempting to collect their grant.

Failure to do so will result in beneficiaries being turned back from the post office without payment. Applicants who feel that their applications were wrongfully declined can apply to have their applications reconsidered.

Step 1: Find the ‘Application for Reconsideration’ tab.
Step 2: Click on where it says ‘click here to apply for reconsideration’.
Step 3: You will be asked to provide your ID number and Mobile number.
Step 4: Follow the prompts to complete the reconsideration of your payment.
