SASSA Grant Payment Schedule For 2022 As the new year begins, various government organisations have reopened to assist the public with the services they require. The South African Social Security Agency will also be starting to process the payment of grants to beneficiaries.

Good news for beneficiaries of the R350 grant, as the South African Post Office has revealed the days that the grant will be paid out to successful applicants.
The most recent pay days released indicate that the grant will be paid out from Monday 11 October 2021.
Below are the ID numbers and pay days for those who receive the R350 grant:
- Mondays 084 and 089
- Tuesdays 080 and 085
- Wednesdays 081 and 086
- Thursdays 082 and 087
- Fridays 083 and 088
It’s important to note that the R350 grant does not have set payment dates, as the grant is a temporary grant. Only SASSA’s permanent grants have set payment dates.
The days supplied above by the Post Office, indicate the days that approved R350 grant beneficiaries will be able to collect their grants starting from Monday 11 October.
Applicants who have not yet been approved for the grant have been urged to be patient. Those whose applications have been successful have been asked to wait to receive an SMS from SASSA before attempting to collect their grants.
The South African Post Office recently said they are working to establish more ways for beneficiaries to collect the grant.
“If you receive the R350 Covid relief grant, you can also collect it from Pick n Pay and Boxer supermarkets. ID and cell phone required. We plan to extend the partnership to more supermarkets.” the Post Office said in a tweet.
