SASSA SRD R350 Grant Collect At Pick N Pay And Boxer (SAPO) has announced that beneficiaries of the R350 grant will now be able to collect their money from Pick n Pay as well as Boxer stores, in addition to the post office. Note that you must have first received an SMS from the South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) confirming that your money is available. Only once your receive this SMS, will you be able to collect your money at either the Post Office, Pick n Pay or Boxer stores.

John Bradshaw believes that allowing people to collect their R350 grants will ensure that they receive their much-needed relief more quickly. He said, “Pick n Pay and Boxer are proud to assist grant beneficiaries access their funds more conveniently and safely, ensuring they receive much-needed relief quicker than before .

Follow the steps listed below to collect your SRD grant at Pick n Pay or Boxer stores.

1: You must receive an SMS from SASSA confirming your successful application.

2: You will then receive an SMS message from SASSA confirming the collection point and advising on the day of collection.

3: You must take your ID and physical cellphone along to the store when collecting your R350 SRD grant.

4: You will then enter your ID number and the registered SASSA cellphone number at the till point to confirm the funds are available for collection.

5: You will immediately receive a USSD message, which you must approve on your cell phone before the cash is handed over.

Please note that SRD grant beneficiaries will never be asked to enter personal information on their cell phones or to click on a link.

SASSA can review your application is if you apply for an appeal, as SASSA will not automatically review rejected applications.

Applicants are reminded to lodge an appeal for every declined application.” SASSA added.

Scroll and check the “Application for reconsideration” heading

Select “click here to apply online or check reconsideration status”
