Key Responsibilities

As a Contact Centre Agent specializing in telemarketing, your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Sales: Engage in outbound calls to existing customers, promoting insurance or media products.
  2. Professional Communication: Ensure all outbound calls are handled efficiently, accurately, and with a professional demeanor.
  3. Customer Service: Provide comprehensive information to customers regarding their insurance options by utilizing customer accounts and personal information.

Ideal Candidate Profile

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education: A Matric qualification or NQF4 equivalent is required.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the insurance industry or sales environment is advantageous.
  • Call Centre Experience: Prior call centre experience will be beneficial.
  • Integrity: A high level of integrity is essential due to access to customer accounts and personal information.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software is necessary.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and selling skills are required.
  • Attention to Detail: A strong focus on accuracy and detail is vital for success.
  • Energy & Drive: High energy levels, self-motivation, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
  • Transport: Candidates should have reliable transport to and from the Parow office.
  • Flexibility: The ability to work flexible hours (08:00 – 21:00) is a key requirement.
