About the Learnership:

This 12-month programme combines classroom-based instruction with practical field training based on the National Road Traffic Act (Act 93 of 1996). Learners will develop essential skills in compliance, leadership, and public safety — preparing them for a professional career as Traffic Officers within the City of Mbombela.

Key Responsibilities:

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric certificate
• Valid driver’s license
• Under the age of 35
• No criminal record or pending cases
• Physically fit and medically compliant
• Must be a permanent resident within the City of Mbombela Municipality
• Proof of residence (not older than 3 months)
• Ward Number must be indicated on the application form

Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups in line with the City’s Employment Equity Plan.
