About the YES Programme
The Youth Employment Service (YES) is a national initiative led by the South African Presidency to combat youth unemployment. Through this programme, Eskom offers unemployed youth a valuable 12-month work experience opportunity within its operations across South Africa.
This is ideal if you:

Youth empowerment workshops -
Want exposure to the energy sector

Are eager to enter the job market
Minimum Requirements
You must:
-
Be a South African citizen
-
Be 18–34 years old
-
Have Grade 12 (Matric) with Mathematics or Maths Literacy

Be proficient in English + at least one other official South African language
Selection Criteria
You:
-
Must NOT have been permanently employed with one employer for more than 1 year
-
Must NOT be studying full-time in 2026
