Receiving structured, multifunctional on-the-job training under the supervision of a certified Cummins Technician, providing exposure to the diagnosis and repair of Cummins engines and products.
Acquiring experience in working on various Cummins engines by disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, troubleshooting, and reassembling engines, among other workshop activities.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:
– Minimum Qualification:
Matric (South African high school certificate) and Technical N2 (including Mathematics, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawings, and Diesel Trade Theory/Motor Trade Theory), OR Technical N3 (including Mathematics, Engineering Science, Engineering Drawings, and Diesel Trade Theory/Motor Trade Theory/Mechanotechnology), OR Technical N4 (including Mathematics, Engineering Science, Mechanical Draughting, and Mechanothechnics).
